It is a pretty neat place, and covers a lot of music history, and not only the musicians but even the instruments and music in itself.
The have this 'Sound Lab' where one can try out musical instruments and equipment. There is even a recording studio where you can play music and actually record it (for a fee, of course).
Might be better to visit it early though or on a weekday. We were lucky that our friends were able to get us in for free!
There is this guitar tree on the second level - and I was really tempted to ask if they are willing to sell me a bass for cheap. They maybe entry level units (mostly Fender Squire brands), but I did see a Washburn 5-string and an Ibanez Gsx 200 I believe. I'll take 'em for $30. Both. ;-)
If you like music and are in the downtown Seattle area, do check out Emp. You won't miss it since it is just beside the Space Needle.
Gambare, mina-san!!
