Mobile blog - Low light shot

Winter is the best time to check out the stars and the like - if there isn't any precipitation, that is.

I got a text from a friend the other night about how clear and nice the moon was. I looked outside and true enough, it was nice and bright and the sky was almost clear.

Got a little inspired and since i did want to try out low light pics with my dslr's bulb mode, I decided to take a few shots in my backyard.

Kanzaki Kaori was my 'model' and I wanted a silhoutte style photo. I took the pic below with the stock 18-55 lens, f-stop at 20, and on a 30 second exposure. Iso was at 400 I think.

I would've taken more but it was cold (38 f) outside. At least it turned out ok :-p

Next time I'll add lighting effects...
